Fast Five extends Vin Diesel's "acting" career another day

How does Vin Diesel keep getting movie offers? Anywho, expect to see at least nine more "Fast and Furious" movies, which should keep him extremely rich.

There's something about those "Fast and the Furious" movies that male undergraduates just seem to love. We don't know if it's the intense car chases or the scantily clad women, but the franchise continues to make lots of money.

The latest in the macho series, the not-so-cleverly titled "Fast Five," brings back original cast members Paul Walker and Vin Diesel for some mindless fun, along with wannabe-crossover-actors The Rock and Ludacris, who we think should stick to what they do best.

We guess these flicks can offer some students a temporary escape from studying and hanging around their off-campus apartments. However, how many of these things can movie studios keep making?

There's likely one person who wouldn't mind to continue making these films for the rest of his life - Vin Diesel. Seriously, we doubt anyone wants this guy to be the star of their movie, as he can only offer '80's-action-film-esque one-liners and grunt like a mad dog. Remember "The Pacifier"?

But, if you want to enjoy a few hours of escapism, we suppose you could do worse than this.
